On July 25, two 1162TEU streamlined container ships (mw439-1/2 #) built by mawei shipyard for COD were successfully docked.

It is reported that this series of vessels, with a total length of about 159.85 meters and a depth of 11.5 meters, are designed with a draft of 6 meters and a carrying weight of about 16,000 tons. They can carry 232 refrigerated containers at a speed of 17.5 knots and are classified as dnv-gl classification society. This product is mainly designed for the specific routes in southeast Asia and adopts many energy-saving technologies. Compared with similar ship types, the efficiency of energy saving and consumption reduction is significant.
